25th Anniversary NYC Gatsby Banquet

On October 17, Hollywood Prayer Network brought its 25th Anniversary Gatsby Celebration to the Big Apple!

Hosted at the historic Hephzibah House on Manhattan's Upper West Side, the evening brought together a community of believers for a memorable and stylish fete celebrating the beauty of the arts, God's presence in our creativity, and most of all, the power of prayer.

The moments of connection, fellowship, and worship exemplified the heart of HPN's ministry -- and the gala helped launch an exciting new chapter for the future of HPN in NYC.

Hephzibah House was transformed into a dazzling venue for the occasion with decorations by Danielle of Crafted by Dani, who worked alongside Ali to create a celebratory atmosphere worthy of HPN's silver anniversary.

Guests enjoyed a delectable charcuterie spread while catching up with old friends and new across New York's creative community. The evening was filled with conversation, laughter, and the kind of genuine fellowship that makes HPN gatherings so special.

Musicians Robert Isaiah Quiles and Dixon Morisseau shared their incredible musical gifts throughout the evening, providing a superb soundtrack for the soiree.

Direct from Hollywood, Program Director Kelry Kirschenmann then took the stage for a special presentation about the ministry's twenty-five-year journey and its vision for the future.

For a quarter-century, Hollywood Prayer Network has been building a bridge between the church and the entertainment industry through prayer. With over 170 chapters worldwide, HPN provides meaningful spaces around the globe for Christian creatives to connect, find encouragement, and support one another.

This first-ever NYC gala marked an exciting milestone for the ministry's East Coast hub, as we officially welcomed Sonia and Robert as the co-leaders of HPN NYC! Their commitment to building this community helped make the celebration possible, and we're thrilled to see them lead HPN's growing New York community into its next season.

After sharing the history and vision of HPN, Kelry also shared an important word of encouragement with the NYC chapter: "Don't do this alone. Make room for vulnerability, and leaning on the Holy Spirit to direct, heal, strengthen and inspire you! Ask for prayer, and build friendships that extend beyond what you do professionally. In a city so often driven by networking, grind, and hustle, we have an opportunity to build a countercultural community rooted in Jesus: a family that reaches the human heart and reaches heaven through prayer."

In the city that never sleeps, we are praying that many more believers join the HPN community and find not only life-giving fellowship, but a deep and abiding rest for their souls that will enable them to do the good works in the arts that God has prepared for them to do.

The first twenty-five years of ministry gave HPN a legacy worth celebrating. Now, from Hollywood to New York City, we're looking forward to all that God has in store for the next twenty-five -- and we can't do it without you!
