Truth or Consequences

There was a very popular game show hosted by Ralph Edwards called Truth or Consequences. It started on Radio and moved to TV from 1940 to 1957.
On the surface we have to ask ourselves these days, what is the Truth and what are the Consequences for rejecting Truth. Is. 60:1 “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. A call for people to rise from spiritual slumber and embrace the Glory and Presence of the Lord.
Adam and Eve had it all, every possible benefit and blessing. God told them the Truth. Satan manipulated God’s Word and they fell for the lie. All of mankind is still impacted by that deception. “You will be like God”. What a diabolical lie. Because of his rebellion in Heaven, Lucifer became the enemy of all mankind, Satan.
Yes, Adam and Eve paid a terrible price for their rebellion, (Original Sin) but compared to Eternal Hell, there is a serious lesson to be learned today. Don’t be a victim to Satan’s lies.
After the Cross, (where Jesus paid a debt he didn’t owe because mankind owed a debt we couldn’t pay) reconciliation became available. Truth or Consequences are still in play today. Action is required, accept Jesus wining a pardon for us, (Salvation), or pay the Consequences (Eternal Death).
As Intercessors, we pray LIFE over Hollywood. Rom. 10:13 For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” One of the amazing promises in God’s testimony, the Bible.
Awake is used over 80 times in the Bible. It means to arouse someone to action. Be ready, the Lord is returning soon. Matt. 24:42 Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.
Our Prayer Focus for Hollywood:
That they will Awake and accept Truth so they don’t suffer the Consequences of eternal separation from God. His Word calls this HELL. Let Truth and Love prevail.
Intercessor Focus:
Remember to keep your own Faith active and strong, not lukewarm. Rev. 3:15-16 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. Let us be Awake.

Because we Love, we pray. Jesus over these wonderful actors. Eternity may well be knocking at their doors. We are praying that they are Awake, Aware and Ready to meet Jesus their Maker. No bad Consequences from indifference or rejection of Truth. The choice is theirs and is called Free Will. Jesus is waiting for their response.
