We are excited to include young people, youth pastors and families in our prayers for Hollywood! Join us in praying for those who influence kids in film, television and music. Download or print the calendar and pass it on to your families, friends, and youth group leaders so that our young people are encouraged to be praying for their peers as they watch and listen to their favorite films, TV shows and songs.

Welcome to the Kids & Teens Prayer Calendar!
If you care about the young people working in Hollywood and would love to be praying for them, then this calendar is for you no matter what your age! But it will be especially helpful if you have young people in your household and you want to give them a more tangible way to pray for Hollywood.
Each month, you’ll find the pictures and names of young actors and actresses who appear in a variety of movies and television shows. It’s easy to forget that the kids and teens we watch on TV or in a theater are real kids with regular lives. They are not only managing a Hollywood career, but they also have to keep up with their schooling. Do you know that once they are 9 years old, these kids are on set for up to 9.5 hours per day? But that’s just one reason why these young people could benefit from our prayers. They are expected to be working professionals at a very young age and yet still have all of the same challenges of managing their time and relationships with friends, family and school. While each calendar has a number of actors and actresses to pray for, there is always space provided for your young person to pray for their favorite people, too. Maybe they have a favorite musician or author or even a sports star. Perhaps they have a favorite show and they want to be praying for those actors each month. Encourage them to write the name in the spaces provided and include them each day. We can all get in the habit of praying for the people we admire more consistently.

Who Makes This Calendar?
Sarah Anne Sumpolec
Sarah has been passionate about kids and teens her whole life. She's worked with them in the classroom as an elementary teacher, on the stage as a director and even has worked with them in acute care psychiatric inpatient and residential treatment centers.
She has written seven novels and one non-fiction book for teens and has been published by Moody Publishers, NavPress and Focus on the Family. She's an alumni of Act One: Writing for Hollywood and has a number of film and TV projects specifically for the kids/teens/family space. Her family has been involved in entertainment for many years with her oldest and youngest daughters in the acting world. She even traveled the country for nine months while her youngest daughter played Pepper in the Broadway National Tour of Annie.
Sarah quit her teaching job in Virginia and moved to Hollywood because she longs to see high-quality media content for kids and teens that can have a spiritual impact on their lives. Her husband, a licensed Christian counselor, moved his practice to California in order to care for the mental health needs of those in the industry and her youngest daughter is with them working on her college degree online so she can continue her acting.

The Praying Parents Team
HPN mobilizes a community of parents to pray for their entertainment professional children. Through these weekly emails, parents from all around the world pray for their children, from babies through adults. Any parent is encouraged to send in personal prayer requests for their kids so that the whole team can agree together through prayer and praise.
