Mentor Salon Mixer

HPN’s Mentor Salon Mixer brought together members of the Hollywood creative community for an evening of connection, conversation, and insight on how ancient stories continue to shape modern entertainment.

Guests dropped in for fellowship from 5:00–6:30 PM, enjoying complimentary bites and drinks in the Conservatory Room.

The evening’s Salon, The Bible as the Source for Inspired Entertainment, featured special guest Crystal L. Melara, professor and Ph.D. candidate in Near Eastern Languages and Cultures at UCLA. Crystal shared her expertise on ancient languages and literature—offering fresh perspective on how biblical and Mesopotamian texts have influenced the timeless themes of love, loss, resilience, and divine encounter found throughout today’s storytelling.

The event provided a thoughtful blend of fellowship and inspiration, highlighting how faith and creativity intersect through the enduring power of story.
