December
In December, we gathered once more for our Annual Christmas Party—a joyful night filled with gratitude, laughter, and connection as we celebrated all that God has done throughout the year.
From stage time to prayer time, these last gatherings of 2025 captured the heart of Upside Down Comedy: building a family of artists who bring light, humor, and hope to the world. We can’t wait to see what’s ahead in 2026!

November
In November, we enjoyed a special workshop with Robert G. Lee at FPCH, where comics brought bits they were developing for feedback and fine-tuning. It was an encouraging night of growth, creativity, and plenty of laughs.
We wrapped up our weekly meetings for the year on November 11th with a relaxed evening of potluck, prayer, and fellowship, taking time to reflect on how God has been moving through this community of comedians, writers, and humorists.

October
On October 28th, we had another night full of laughter and light at our Upside Down Comedy Monthly Clean Comedy Open Mic! Comics and comedy-lovers gathered in the Middle Terrace Theatre at FPCH for an evening of family-friendly fun, clever punchlines, and plenty of encouragement.
Performers from all backgrounds—seasoned stand-ups and first-timers alike—took the stage to share five minutes of clean material. The supportive crowd made it easy to try out new jokes and enjoy honest, joy-filled humor. Between sets, comics connected, swapped tips, and offered thoughtful feedback to help each other grow.
Whether performing or just cheering from the audience, everyone left with smiles and lighter hearts. We love seeing this community of comedians and creatives grow week by week!

September
Upside Down Comedy hosted another fun-filled Monthly Clean Comedy Open Mic at the Middle Terrace Theatre on the campus of First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood. The evening brought together comics and comedy lovers alike for a night of laughter, encouragement, and community.
Performers—both seasoned pros and first-timers—took the stage to share five minutes of clean, family-friendly material. The supportive crowd and positive atmosphere made it an ideal space to test new jokes, refine routines, and enjoy good humor without the edge.
Each month, the open mic continues to grow as a welcoming space for comedians of all backgrounds to connect, collaborate, and celebrate the joy of laughter together.
On Saturday, September 20th, the HPN community also gathered in Redondo Beach for an evening of laughter, connection, and good clean fun at Upside Down Comedy Live!
The show featured a lineup of talented comics who delivered smart, family-friendly humor that had the crowd laughing from start to finish. With free admission, a welcoming atmosphere, and plenty of opportunities to connect, the night reminded everyone just how powerful laughter can be in bringing people together.
