Praying Producers - 2025 Gatherings

Hosted at the Covell Home, this monthly gathering offered a unique space for producers to connect deeply, pray over the projects God has entrusted to them, and encourage one another to lead with creativity, excellence, and spiritual authority.

The evening was marked by authentic conversations, heartfelt prayer, and a shared commitment to see revival and godly influence move through Hollywood’s production world. This group is designed for working producers who want to grow in faith and leadership—not networking or career climbing—but a space where the Holy Spirit guides and empowers.

We’re excited to see how God continues to work through Praying Producers as this community grows and impacts the industry with His truth and light.

The Praying Producers group met on Thursday, October 9th, at the Covell home for another evening of connection, prayer, and encouragement. This month’s gathering featured special guest Ralph Winter, veteran Hollywood producer known for major films such as X-Men, Fantastic Four, Star Trek, I, Robot, and Planet of the Apes.

Ralph joined Karen Covell for an engaging conversation about faith, calling, and the challenges of navigating Hollywood as a Christian producer. He shared insights from his decades-long career in both mainstream and faith-based film, offering wisdom and perspective on staying grounded while working at the highest levels of the industry.

The night also included time for prayer and connection among producers, continuing the group’s focus on building authentic relationships and inviting God’s presence into every aspect of their creative work.

The Praying Producers group met for its second gathering on Thursday, September 4th. The evening continued to build on the vision launched in July — creating a dedicated space for working producers in film and media to connect, pray, and encourage one another.

Participants spent time praying over current projects, sharing experiences from their work, and discussing what it means to lead with both excellence and spiritual integrity in the entertainment industry.

The heart of this group remains focused on authentic relationships and spiritual growth rather than networking — offering a place where producers can support one another and invite the Holy Spirit to move within their creative and professional lives.

On Thursday, July 31st, we officially launched Praying Producers—a new HPN community group created specifically for producers!

The launch night brought together over 40 producers from film, television, streaming, and media to connect, share, and pray over the projects and responsibilities they carry. Ryan and Kaley introduced the vision for the group: to provide a monthly space for producers to build community, encourage one another, and seek God’s guidance in their work both on set and behind the scenes.

It was a meaningful start to what will be an ongoing gathering for producers who want to integrate faith, creativity, and leadership in their craft.
