Self-Guided Tour Down Hollywood Blvd

Welcome to the Hollywood Blvd self-guided walking tour to pray for Hollywood and all of its businesses and people. As we embark on this journey, let's take the time to reflect on the importance of this iconic area and partner with God as we pray for everyone who contributes to its vibrancy and uniqueness - from the celebrity to the creative to the homeless. This tour is a wonderful opportunity to show our love for this community by speaking life along the well-worn streets of dreams passed, and believing for God to bring revival, renewal, and restoration as we release the Kingdom of God here through prayer. Let's begin our walk with reverence and hope for the future!

Start at: First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood
Hollywood Prayer Network & Actor’s Co-op
Pray for our ministries – that we may be salt and light in this city and that the 
Lord would use us for His kingdom and glory. Our goal is to serve Him and 
lift up the entertainment industry in prayer. Please pray that we can reach
out to more believers and non-believers in Hollywood. Pray that many more come to HPN for encouragement, support, advice, and PRAYER!

Exit the church and walk South on Gower St, and turn right onto Hollywood Blvd.



Walk down the RIGHT side of Hollywood Blvd going West (with traffic) and pray at the following locations (make sure to notice the Stars on the Walk of Fame and pray over anyone’s star that you recognize!):


Funko Pop Museum - 6201 Hollywood Blvd.
We pray for the many museums in Hollywood and ask the Lord to introduce Himself in a new way to the tourists who come in and out of these places. May the Lord be the “Famous One’ in our hearts, and may celebrities receive honor for the work but not be raised up as “gods.”

Pantages Theatre - 6233 Hollywood Blvd.
Pray for the people involved in theatre and for the shows currently happening there. We ask the Lord to reveal His Truth through stories and songs, and that the content of the musical productions would ask questions that make people think and ask questions, rather than overtly advance any agenda.

The Frolic Room (bar) - 6245 Hollywood Blvd.
Pray that the Lord would draw all the people searching to fill their emptiness to Himself. Pray that He would bring an end to the over-indulgence of alcohol and that those searching for relationships would first have a relationship with their Savior. 

Hollywood and Vine - 6253 Hollywood Blvd.
Hollywood and Vine is known for its concentration of radio and movie-related businesses. Pray for everyone pursuing an acting career in media. We pray God would encourage aspiring performing artists through His comfort, peace, and love, and that no worldly success would compare to the fulfillment that comes through Christ Jesus.

Déjà Vu Show Girls - 6315 Hollywood Blvd.
There are many adult retail/lingerie stores and shows that line Hollywood Blvd. Most of all, pray for the women involved in the stripper business. Pray that the Lord would send His people to tell them about Jesus, and that their lives would be changed. The Lord loves his children, and we pray that all women would learn to see themselves as daughters of the living God. May all of our lives reflect the purity that comes from Him. 

Hollywood Tattoo Studio - 6317 Hollywood Blvd.
There are many tattoo parlors and smoke shops that line the streets of Hollywood. We pray for those walking into these shops to make wise decisions and be safe. 


Meta Verse Exhibit - 6363 Hollywood Blvd.
The Meta Verse offers new technology in the world of integrated 3D and is accessed via Virtual Reality Headsets. We pray that this technology will be used wisely and that God will have His hand on all the VR that is being created..  

Scum & Villainy Cantina (bar) - 6377 Hollywood Blvd.
Pray for the nightclub crowd – that the Lord would draw all the people searching to 
fill their emptiness to Himself.

Hollywood Exotic Shop (lingerie) - 6505 Hollywood Blvd.

Crystal Store - 6507 Hollywood Blvd.
All along Hollywood Blvd. you will find shops advertising different religions or beliefs that people here cling to, not knowing the truth. Pray for the people in these shops, that God would let them crave spirituality and Truth.

LA Tattoo - 6547 Hollywood Blvd.

Hollywood Bus Tour - 6607 Hollywood Blvd.
Pray for the millions of tourists who come to LA in hopes of seeing the glamor of Hollywood, and the young people hoping to become famous. May their eyes be opened to the reality of this place, and may Jesus shine His truth and light on their hearts while they are in this city. We pray that the Christians who come here would see Hollywood as the world’s most influential mission field, full of people whom God loves unconditionally!

Many tour companies make money by promoting idol worship amongst tourists. People spend a lot of money to drive by stars’ homes, see and touch the hand and footprints and hear stories about their lives. Pray for the Lord to touch the hearts of these paying customers so they see that we are all the same at the foot of the cross. 

Hollywood Wax Museum - 6767 Hollywood Blvd.

Hollywood & Highland Center - 6801 Hollywood Blvd.
It used to be known as “Babylon Plaza,” this highly visible shopping and entertainment mall is a beacon representing what Hollywood stands for: fame, wealth, red. Carpet movie premieres, celebrities’ hand and footprints, glitz and power. Pray for tourists to see that it’s all curtain veiling searching, desperate people who need Jesus. Pray for the tourists who are soaking up the experience.

Dolby Theatre - 6801 Hollywood Blvd.
The Dolby Theatre (formerly Kodak Theatre) is home to the Academy Awards. Lift up this theatre and all the theatres in Hollywood, asking that God’s glory and power be revealed through film. May the Lord break down the false gods and idols of Hollywood – The Oscar, the Golden Globe, etc. We worship a wonderfully creative God. We earnestly pray that the Lord would inspire filmmakers to create films that glorify Him by celebrating beauty, truth, and love. 

TMZ Celebrity Tour (guided tour) - 6801 Hollywood Blvd.

TCL Chinese Theatre - 6925 Hollywood Blvd.
This is one of the most famous tourist spots in our country. Opening in the early 1900s as Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, its sidewalks are full of entertainment history. Pray for the families, friends, and fans of every name you see on this cement, and ask the Lord to touch them with the truth of His love and salvation.

Roosevelt Hotel - 7000 Hollywood Blvd.
Pray for all those staying in the Roosevelt Hotel. Historically, it was designed to be a luxurious place to stay for actors and actresses coming to Los Angeles from all over the world.

Jimmy Kimmel Live - 6840 Hollywood Blvd.
Pray here where they film the Jimmy Kimmel Live show. Entertainers appear as the foundation of our society when that cannot be true. Pray over the entertainers of this industry, and that they would use their talents to point people to God.

El Capitan Theatre - 6838 Hollywood Blvd.
This theatre is owned by Disney Studios and screens only Disney movies.  They have live shows before some of the movies and offer characters, displays and paraphernalia from the movies that they screen.  Pray for families who come to watch these Disney films.

Pray for the students and faculty of this popular Music school.  Many young musicians come from around the world to get training to become professionals.

Church of Scientology - 6724 Hollywood Blvd.
Pray for the people sucked into the world of Scientology. Pray that the Lord would 
pull them out of Scientology and draw them to Himself! Pray for Tom Cruise, Kirstie Alley, John Travolta and other celebrities who are deceived by this religion.

Sunset Entertainment Group is responsible for the management of the most high profile clubs in Hollywood. They have been described as able to “capture the essence of Hollywood glamour and excitement.” Pray that the people at this agency would take responsibility for the experiences they create and that the people attending their clubs would be safe.

Celebrity Service International - 1680 Vine St.
Celebrity Service International is a service that manages celebrity contacts. We want to stop here and pray for all the celebrities that go through the hands of these managers, and all of these celebrities of whose stars we’ve stepped over on this walk. Show them your light, Lord.

Hollywood / Vine Metro Station - 6250 Hollywood Blvd.
Pray for all the people coming on and off the train station onto Hollywood Blvd. Pray 
for the actors, musicians, and people behind the scenes in the industry. Pray for those who come to Hollywood hoping to “make it big” and are disappointed and for God’s provision for the people of this city.

For Christians in arts, media and entertainment to be salt and light to those around them and not to get discouraged: “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled by men. You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.”

For Christians in entertainment to stay strong in character and integrity: “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”

For the non-believers in entertainment to have the veil lifted over their eyes and hearts: “Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”

For Christian ministries to gain favor in Hollywood: “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.”

For Christians outside the entertainment industry to gain wisdom into this mission field and to understand how to pray for the people here: “For the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.”
Proverbs 2:6

For the personal relationships, marriages, and families of media professionals: “Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral. Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you: never will I forsake you.”

For the subtle spiritual battle that every Christian struggles with - that we will understand the real battle and stand firm: “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the power of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
