In May, Upside Down Comedy continued its weekly gatherings with a mix of creativity, community, and celebration.
The month began with a one-of-a-kind comedy-style baby shower for two of our members—an all-community celebration filled with dinner, dessert, hilarious baby-themed games, and plenty of laughter. It was a joyful, feel-good night as everyone showed up to support and celebrate the growing family.
The following weeks featured an improv session with Joel McCrary, a collaborative joke-writing workshop that helped sharpen material, and an open mic hosted by Suzanna Brown, where performers had the chance to share and refine their work.
Each week reflected the heart of Upside Down Comedy: building community, growing in craft, and using humor to uplift and inspire.
