On November 7th, the Venice Beach Monthly Prayer and Fellowship enjoyed an evening of conversation, fellowship, and prayer Attendees encouraged one another, shared updates from their lives and careers, and closed the evening with gratitude for the growing community that had formed since the group's launch earlier in the year.

On October 3rd, the Venice Beach Monthly Prayer and Fellowship gathered for its monthly evening of fellowship and prayer.
Guests spent time connecting with one another, discussing the joys and challenges of working in entertainment, and offering encouragement and prayer. The gathering fostered a spirit of community and reminded attendees of the importance of supporting one another both personally and professionally.

On September 5th, the Venice Beach Monthly Prayer and Fellowship welcomed entertainment professionals for another monthly meeting.
The evening provided an opportunity for attendees to strengthen relationships, share about life and work, and encourage one another through prayer. As the community continued to grow, the gathering remained a valuable space for connection, support, and faith-centered conversation.

On August 1st, the Venice Beach Monthly Prayer and Fellowship hosted its monthly gathering.
The group enjoyed a relaxed evening of fellowship, meaningful conversation, and prayer. Attendees connected over shared experiences in the entertainment industry, encouraged one another in their current seasons, and spent time lifting up personal and professional needs in prayer.

On July 11th, the Venice Beach Monthly Prayer and Fellowship gathered for another evening of community and encouragement.
Entertainment professionals from a variety of backgrounds came together to connect, share updates from their personal and professional lives, and pray for one another. The evening provided a welcoming space for authentic conversation, mutual support, and growing friendships within the creative community.

June
On June 6th, the Venice Beach Monthly Prayer and Fellowship hosted our monthly meeting.
We had a powerful and intimate gathering last night with about ten people from the Hollywood Prayer Network. The smaller group allowed for deeper conversation, and we were able to really dive into meaningful topics. We discussed the rapid changes in development and AI, and how we as creatives are called to reflect God the Creator by adapting and creating with purpose. We also talked about God’s timing and purpose for each of us—why we’ve been called to Hollywood and how that calling plays out in our work and our witness, even outside of overt faith settings.
We spent time in specific prayer for those in our group who are currently out of work, asking God to provide opportunities and clarity, and we also prayed for healing. One of our members, who had been dealing with foot pain, reported feeling no pain since last night—something we’re truly grateful for.
A particularly encouraging moment came when someone who doesn’t identify as a Christian joined us, and afterward shared with the friend who brought her that she’s open to going to church and learning more about Jesus. That felt like a huge win and a reminder of why we do this.
We feel humbled and so grateful to host these gatherings. Last night left us inspired and reminded of the beauty of showing up with open hearts.

Attendees enjoyed an evening of connection, conversation, and encouragement as they continued building community together. The group shared about current projects, supported one another through prayer, and reflected on the unique opportunities and challenges of working in the entertainment industry. It was another meaningful evening of fellowship and relationship-building.

On April 4th, the Venice Beach Monthly Prayer and Fellowship officially launched, creating a warm and welcoming space for West-side entertainment professionals to connect and build community!
This new home gathering is a welcoming space for professionals in the entertainment industry to connect, share, and build community. Our monthly meetings will provide an opportunity for meaningful conversations, industry support, and faith-based encouragement.
Each meeting will include a social hang over small bites and drinks, followed by a relaxed discussion to check in, share insights, and support one another. Occasional guest speakers provide additional perspective, and the evening concludes with a time of prayer.
Meetings will take place on the first Friday of every month at 7 PM in Venice, LA.
