ORTOLANA

Documentary Filmmakers Fellowship

About the Group

Ortolana is a new vocational fellowship for Christian documentary creators. Ortolana means “growers of fruit,” a name that reflects both the long, patient work of documentary storytelling and the spiritual fruit formed through faithful presence, truth-telling, and perseverance.

This fellowship exists to gather documentary filmmakers and collaborators who “speak documentary” and desire community, prayer, and thoughtful conversation around their craft and calling.

Ortolana is open to anyone working in the documentary space in any capacity—directors, producers, editors, researchers, cinematographers, composers, fundraisers, or those developing projects and ideas. Whether you are early in your journey or well-established, you are welcome!
