Bio: Mariana is a professional translator and singer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is a Roman Catholic and so, was baptized as an infant. Catholicism is the faith of her parents, and she herself walks in this faith. However, she considers herself to be born again, because she deliberately accepted Christ in her life as her Lord and Savior, and decided to follow Him. She has a burden for the unity of Christians, because she believes that division is a work of the devil, and there is much more that unites us than separates us. Plus, it is Jesus’ will that all His followers be one.
As HPN Chapter Director for Buenos Aires, Argentina, Mariana is co-leader of the OrarPorTheChosen prayer group.

Bio: Vanesa is a storyteller. She’s always been so. From early childhood, she’s been fascinated with movies, and over time, she’s realized how influential stories really are.
As Providence would have it, she later became a missionary Bible teacher, and she now lives in the jungles of Bolivia, South America, where she serves as a full-time prayer and discipleship coach as well as a biblical mental health tutor. Every day, she has the privilege of helping incredible human beings find freedom from addictions and destructive thought patterns through the powerful stories and truths in the Word of God.

Bio: Peggy's intent is to educate people by living her life as an example of discipleship and love. She intimately knows the responsibilities of being a wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and worker. In encouraging people through prayer, she seeks to uplift Hollywood, local theatre, and studio establishments by highlighting the importance of positivity, rather than gossip, connection rather than disconnection, and inspiration rather than discouragement.
Her involvement in the arts community, sharing Hollywood Prayer Network with churches, and reaching out to a Calgary film studio, has allowed her to pray and walk with many in the industry who need spiritual connection and vitality.

Bio: As an emerging producer, writer and actor, a member of the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA), and Canadian Actors’ Equity Association (CAEA), Audra is immersed in the entertainment industry and perfectly suited as Toronto’s HPN Chapter director. Her hope is that HPN can be a hub to connect, as well to pray for people in the arts and entertainment sector. She has taken the time to seek out different artistic groups to get a sense of what’s happening in the Toronto area and is taking that opportunity to pray for the local arts and entertainment industry and the people involved as she meets many one on one.

He has published a book titled “From Genocide to Jesus“, and is praying into it being translated into a film to build up the body of Christ and reach souls around the world. He has also acted as a lead in a documentary that recently launched in Madrid and Zaragoza called “Voiceless”, telling the story of a forgotten Genocide of the Tutsi in Burundi in 1993.

Chapter Director: Amir Ghali
Bio: Although Amir Ghali was in Egypt for a long time, he recently came back to the USA. However, he still has a team of people who are in Egypt. Margo and Amged are the team leaders in Cairo, and continue to reach out to each other and other people in prayer. Additionally, they are trying to establish Arabic Media School to teach media for young people. Amir diligently guides his team and always shares his prayers for them and the entertainment industry.

Chapter Director: Grace Tiengwelieu
Bio: Grace is a French actress, author, director and producer. She has worked in many different positions in the film industry, from assistant manager to line producer. She even had a small contribution as an assistant’s assistant director for Christopher Nolan’s “Dunkirk.”
She had a very bad start in life, but God is her default mode now, and she is full of hope and joy. Grace believes it is never too late to pursue the big dreams God placed in her heart of hearts, and not so long ago, she trained for two years in a premier Hollywood acting studio.

He has a B.A. degree in Cinema and Media Arts, and graduated with a Master in business administration that resulted in various management positions and 3 businesses he founded that God used to train him to the call of being full-time digital missionary. He is gathering Christian artists and volunteers from around the world to develop new visions, stories, short films and digital content in various languages.

She has also started her studies in Art Therapy / Pedagogy and believes art can be a tool to improve mental health and to connect to God.

Bio: Chris Mitchell brings a Biblical and prophetic perspective to the daily news events that shape our world. Mitchell established the CBN News Middle East Bureau in August 2000. Since then, he’s covered the major events in the region and served as Executive Director of “Jerusalem Dateline,” a weekly program covering the Middle East.
Mitchell graduated from the University of New Hampshire and earned a M.A. in Communication from Regent University. After almost a quarter of a century with CBN News, Chris’s goal is to provide in his stories the Biblical “understanding of the times” described in I Chronicles 12:32.

Chapter Director: Jamie Kassler
Bio: Jamie Kassler is a filmmaker-missionary serving in Japan. His focus is to pray for, meet, and encourage filmmakers in Japan and internationally, as well as to create inspirational media in Japan (Japan Hope). Jamie is currently making narrative short films in Japan as an outreach ministry, which allows him to share God’s love both in the film content and throughout the filmmaking process. These short films have also opened doors for Jamie and his team to share God’s love at secular film festivals and arts communities.
One on one, Jamie is always blessed to engage and pray for those he meets on the mission field, or who have reached out to him online – including filmmakers, artists, missionaries, those with a heart for Japan, and more. He loves to pray for others, and encourage people however he can.

Bio: Ana Escalante grew up acting quite a bit in her hometown Monterrey, but stopped altogether when she began college to focus on her business degree. She had a promising career in marketing and brand management working for a huge FMCG company until the end of 2022 when she felt God calling her to return to her love of acting and film.
As a firm believer with strong involvement in her local church in the kids, worship and small group ministries, she is convinced that God has called us to use our talents for His glory, to shine His light wherever we are at, and to love people (Romans 11:36, Colossians 3:17, Matthew 5:16, John 13:34). Her chapter’s goal is to serve as a local contact and to bring anyone with a passion for the industry together in prayer so that we may be the hands and feet of Jesus in everything we do and wherever we may be (Mexico, Hollywood or the ends of the earth).

Bio: Hans has seen firsthand the power of prayer. There are many in the entertainment industry that need special prayer, so his chapter in Holland is always there for them. As chapter director, his starting point is, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” (Phil 4:6-7) He encourages those he prays for to “Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.” (Phil 6:18)

As a dedicated prayer intercessor, he intercedes for productions and wants people to feel God’s love on set. He engages people from the Church, helps distribute the HPN Call Sheets, and holds prayer events.

With a passion for seeing positive change in the world of media and entertainment, Simeon has been actively involved in building a community of prayer warriors in South Korea who are committed to interceding for the needs of those working in Hollywood.
Through his leadership, Simeon has helped to cultivate a strong network of individuals who are dedicated to praying for the industry and its impact on society. His work has been instrumental in fostering a culture of prayer and spiritual transformation for the entertainment industry.

Bio: Hector Ramirez is artistic director and founder of the Performing Arts Centre in Madrid, Spain. He and his wife Lilli are founders of the Ars Vitalis Foundation. Hector has been an actor, theatre director and producer, and writer of the musical, Animal Talk. Some of the shows he has produced and directed are Othello, The Great Theatre of the World, EL Cántico Espiritual, an adaptation of Cats, el Culebron, and more. He has worked as floor manager for TV shows in Canada and in Italy.
The Madrid chapter encourages God’s gift of creativity in the lives of others, by engaging the non-Christians in conversation on the relevant issues of life in providing a platform for discussion in a postmodern, post-Christian society, through the arts and culture. Prayer, interaction, teaching and information are necessary tools to open the way for meaningful conversations on the relevance of the gospel.

Chapter Directors: Andreas and Frida Edström
Bio: Frida and Andreas Edstrom are married business partners. They were born and raised in Sweden and currently parents to four amazing kids. Andreas is a musician who early found his calling in ministering one-on-one backstage in the music industry. Frida has had a heart for Hollywood since she was 7 years old, not knowing then that God would use her intercessory heart for specific people in the industry in her adult life. For years, God has put His burdened heart in theirs, enabling them to pray boldly for individuals in the industry.
In 2019, Frida received a vision from the Lord: looking down from Griffith Observatory, she saw something looking like the Northern Lights being poured out and spreading through Hollywood. When she woke up from the vision, she instantly knew it was the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. This added to the belief that great revival is about to hit Hollywood, affecting the whole world.

Bio: The Swiss Chapter was founded in November 2015 and is located in the canton of Zurich. We really enjoy and value our international community and the relationships this network has brought to us over the years. Through these relationships, our focus of praying for Hollywood has expanded to praying for the global industry and the people involved.
In regard to Switzerland, we pray for the impact of art and its expression of worship to be a welcomed friend in the church. We have a heart for praying for creatives and industry professionals living in the area, for community to grow and Jesus to be praised.

Bio: Chapter director Joshua Balikoowa wants his group to pray for a change in people’s perception of God, particularly in this multi-cultural and collective thinking society. His goal is to support individualistic thinking patterns for members of the entertainment industry.
As a Bible teacher, author, screenwriter and film producer, Joshua’s strategy is to meet artists and share with them the HPN vision. Recently, he had the opportunity to meet 500 artists with an interest in promoting the gospel through art. "I was blessed to speak to folks in the meeting and told them that if we pray, the Lord will heal our land from all the ignorance of the past generation,” Balikoowa said. “I could sense the spark that had started to ignite revival in the lives of these passionate creators.”
