About the Group
The intention of this Dance Fellowship is to build connections and community amongst all those who consider themselves dancers. This group is for professionals in the Industry as well as exuberant worshippers who carry the heart of David. All are welcome!
Get to Know the Leader
Tatiana Fernald is a seasoned dance professional and ministry leader with over two decades of experience across performance, choreography, and creative leadership. As the Ministry Lead for Dance For Joy through Hollywood Prayer Network, she brings her gifts to the intersection of faith and movement, creating space for healing, worship, and transformation through dance.
Tatiana's performance career spans some of the most respected companies in the industry, including the Los Angeles Ballet, Santa Clarita Ballet, Word In Motion, and OneBody Dance Company. A Royal Academy of Dance certified artist trained in classical ballet, hip hop, jazz, and Latin fusion, she has also served as Tour Director and Head Choreographer for Eastern Sky Theatre Company and as Head Choreographer and Stunt Coordinator for the feature film Bringing Back Christmas.
For over 15 years, Tatiana has walked out her faith through ministry, using dance as a vehicle for encounter with God. Her work goes far beyond performance; she specializes in somatic therapies and trauma release through movement, helping individuals experience physical, emotional, and spiritual freedom. Drawing from her academic background in child development and special education from California State University, Northridge, she meets every person where they are, tailoring her approach to support healing at every level.
Tatiana's heart is to see people move from brokenness into wholeness, and she believes dance is one of the most powerful tools God has given us to get there. Through Dance For Joy, she continues to equip and inspire a community of believers to use their bodies as an act of worship, surrender, and joy.
