We had 25 people attend the latest HomeBase gathering, enjoying a great time of connection and food before breaking into four prayer groups. Two groups prayed for two hours, while the other two continued for three—reflecting the depth of conversation and care shared throughout the night. A handful of new visitors joined as well, invited by friends in the community.
One highlight testimony: Three months ago, a woman in one of the prayer groups asked for prayer regarding a new job, housing, and a roommate. At this most recent gathering, she shared that all three prayers had been answered—she found a new job, moved into a new place, and, in a beautiful full-circle moment, her new roommate ended up being another woman she met during that same prayer group.
