Reimagining Work: Academics in LA

As part of CFWLA’s vision to reframe vocation and reshape culture, we invite you to join us for our next sector-based event in our Reimagining Work series with our fifth gathering focused on exploring faith and academics in Los Angeles.

This virtual gathering will include a panel discussion moderated by cultural theologian and Fashion Theology author, Robert Covolo along with Francis Su, Benediktsson-Karwa Professor of Mathematics at Harvey Mudd College and a former president of the Mathematical Association of America, Brian Gregor, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Philosophy at California State University Dominguez Hills, Kim-Lien Nguyen, M.D., Cardiology, Assistant Professor of Cardiology at the University of California Los Angeles, and Jeff Hanson, Ph.D., Research Associate in Philosophy and Senior Philosopher for The Human Flourishing Program at Harvard University. The first half of the event will include scripted Q&A for each participant while the second half will feature a time for audience Q&A.
