Alpha Hollywood gives entertainment professionals the opportunity to explore spirituality, ask questions, and share their point of view.
Navigating Hollywood‘s Alpha Hollywood is a series of 8 sessions that explore the basics of faith. The sessions take place online with each week taking a look at different questions people often have about the teachings of Jesus and spirituality. The times together are designed to create conversations. It’s an open, informal, and honest space to explore and discuss life’s big questions together while creating community. All backgrounds are represented and all questions are welcomed.
Our Alpha is for entertainment professionals, hosted by entertainment professionals. Our online Alpha course will be on Monday evenings from 7:30 – 9:00 pm.
What does Alpha look like?
Talks
The video talks are designed to engage and inspire conversation. They explore the big issues around faith and unpack the questions from Who is Jesus? and How can we have faith? to Why and how do I pray? and How does God guide us?
Discussion
After the talk, everyone has a chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic, and discuss it as a group. There’s no obligation to say anything and there’s nothing you can’t say (seriously). It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly, and open environment.
