This is the 28th year that the Hollywood Prayer Network is hosting an event for the Hollywood Christian Community on the National Day of Prayer, that we call, the “Hollywood Day of Prayer”. In past years, we have brought together a large and diverse group of Jesus-lovers who want to pray and worship together, while also interceding for the Hollywood Entertainment Industry, and the prevalent issues, people, and projects. We want to continually see REVIVAL in Hollywood and across the global industry community – and we believe that ALWAYS BEGINS WITH PRAYER!
NIGHT 1 : Why We Pray – With Karen and Jim Covell
Founding HPN Director Karen Covell and her husband Jim Covell will be tackling the question of WHY we pray – particularly for Hollywood and the global entertainment industry community. Join us for a rich evening of teaching, stories, and illustrations that will ignite the fire of your heart to be interceding as never before for revival to come to the arts, media, music, entertainment, tech, and content creation industries!
NIGHT 2: How We Pray – With Kelry and Tim Kirschenmann
HPN Program Director Kelry Kirschenmann and her husband Tim Kirschenmann will dive deep into the prayer life of a Christian. They will break down religious stereotypes that have been built around the idea That Hollywood doesn’t “deserve” to be prayed for. They want to equip and empower all attendees to develop an intimate relationship with God. We invite everyone who has been called to pray (which is, EVERY person who loves Jesus) to join this powerful second night to feel ready to take on even the most difficult topics and circumstances in prayer – namely, Hollywood!
NIGHT 3: PART 1 – Jesus Block Party
We are kicking off Thursday night with a community JESUS BLOCK PARTY at 5:30pm in the courtyard on the FPCH campus!! Positive, Encouraging 100.3 will be there playing tunes and handing out swag, Jesus Burgers will be there serving 200 FREE burgers, and HPN will be there available to hangout and pray with anyone that comes! This is an awesome time to meet and connect with believers in Hollywood and the entertainment and creative industries! Write a prayer request and stick it to our 36 ft long Hollywood Sign mural! Meet wonderful people, and come hang out with us before the event begins!
NiGHT 3: PART 2 – THE POWER OF PRAYER Worship/Prayer Night
A powerful night of prayer and worship, with a beautiful melting pot of Ministry leaders, Industry professionals, and anyone who feels led to PRAY FOR HOLLYWOOD!
Join a conglomerate of professionals and ministries in Hollywood for a night of worship, prayer, and community! This evening concludes our compelling 3 night event as we gather to lift up the name of Jesus in Hollywood! Night 1 PREPARES us to pray, Night 2 EQUIPS us to pray, and Night 3 ACTIVATES us to pray EFFECTIVELY and POWERFULLY for the entertainment industry and the world around us.
With a powerful, multi-church worship team, prayer leaders available throughout the night, and intentional prayer over areas that God has highlighted to us, we are honored to open up the doors of the Campus to ALL!
We invite you to join us in praying over the following areas:
– For Greater Measures of Faith
– For Kingdom Resources
– For Kingdom Relationships (friendship/ singleness/ marriages)
– For Children and Families in the Industry
– For Freedom from Porn, Human Trafficking, and Exploitation
– For Salvations
– For Revival in Media and Arts
We will also have time for interpersonal prayer for those who need it, and times of small group prayer over the different crafts and disciplines that make up the Media, Arts, and Entertainment Industries. Join us for a night of outpouring, community, and PRAYER!
