Pray for Bollywood and Beyond

That those in Bollywood would have a heart for the less fortunate of India and those who model Christ's compassion. Sonu Nigam, the famous playback singer, recently met some children in the street who asked him to sing a little for them. Not only did he sing, but he also brought them to his concert. May this be an ongoing trend in the entertainment industry.

Keep the casts of the recent and upcoming blockbusters in your prayers. These actors and actresses, the heroes and heroines, need a touch of God so that there will have a ripple effect throughout India. Please include in your prayers: Thoda Pyaar, Thoda Magic with Saif Ali Khan, and Rani Mukherjee. De Taali with Aftab Shivdasani, Riteish Deshmukh, and Ayesha Takia. And upcoming Mission Istanbul with Zayed Khan, Suniel Shetty, Shabbir Ahluwalia, Shreya Saran, Nikitin Dheer and Vivek Oberoi.

Please continue to pray that there will be a return to a higher moral standard in Bollywood. Pray that actresses and actors will insist on more modesty and have favor in Bollywood, and that directors will be willing to make cleaner, more family-friendly films.

Please also continue to pray for those who minister within Bollywood: Galilean International Film and Television Services, Anil Kant Ministries, Johnny Lever's Ministry, YWAM Jaipur Media Ministries, ArtNet, Bollywood Prayer Network, Jose Joseph's Musician's Fellowship in Pune, as well as his ministry with Arts with a Mission, the Prayer and Care Centre of Mumbai, New Life Fellowship Churches, Tahira Haider Ali's ministry, and any other ministries that come to mind. Pray that those of us involved in these ministries will continue to walk with Christ and grow in His love and humility, daily.
