Start A Local Chapter in Your Area

If you are excited about praying for the people who work in the Entertainment Industry, or you’d like to gather the Christians who work in the Media in your city, or if you want to start a prayer group of prayer warriors and/or media professionals, then you may want to start an HPN Local Chapter in your city.

The role of a Local Chapter Director is four fold-

Learn - We ask our Local chapter directors to be students of culture and media. On a local level: what is the media presence in your city/state? How can you be praying for them? Who are the pastors, churches & ministries reaching out to media professionals in your area? How can you partner with them to pray for Hollywood . On a global level: What is the media doing? What are the trends, perspectives, world views being shared in the media? The Hollywood Prayer Network will equip you with resources and updates and will be available for any questions you may have.

Recruit - Meet with pastors, small groups, media professionals and prayer warriors in your area and ask them to join the Hollywood Prayer Network in praying for the world's most influential mission field.

Resource - As you learn and recruit you will need to resource your local database with prayer request updates, prayer event opportunities. Distribute Hollywood Prayer Network materials to anyone who is interested in learning more about praying for the media. We will give you as many copies of our “Hollywood Crisis” DVD, remote prayer stickers and brochures as you need.

Pray - As a local chapter director of the Hollywood Prayer Network you need to have a passion to pray for the people working in the entertainment industry. Your learning, recruiting and resourceing should be motivated, directed, and covered in prayer.

Every city and director is unique and we work with local chapter directors to create a vision, plan and goals that fit the director and city.
