Welcome to the Indianapolis chapter of the Hollywood Prayer Network! 
 
We believe that the arts industry has an extremely powerful influence in our world.  Millions of people everyday are touched by the arts - either through TV or radio, books, works of art, etc.  We would love to capture the power of this medium for Christ.  Here in Indianapolis, we have a widely varied artistic community, and many of you know the Lord.  Because we believe the arts are so influential, we want to be praying for not only our local artists, but our fellow artisans in Hollywood.  The Hollywood Prayer Network allows us to be connected to fellow believers who are working in Hollywood.    

Praying for Hollywood isn't just praying that "those people would make better TV shows."  Although certainly we want to see cleaner shows, we must be aware of the hundreds of believers who are already working every day in Hollywood...actors, musicians, playwrights, sound technicians, administrators, productions assistants, etc.  There are so many believers inside Hollywood who are positioned to make a difference for Christ.  Through Hollywood Prayer Network (HPN), you have the opportunity to become informed about what God is already doing within Hollywood, and you can pray wisely and effectively. 

Why do we want to be involved with HPN?  The Headquarters of HPN is run by wonderful, Godly Christian men and women who have been serving the Lord in their artistic professions in Hollywood for over 20 years.  They fully understand the sub-culture that Hollywood is, and how to best present the truth of Jesus Christ to them.  We've seen how God has blessed and multiplied their efforts to bring Christ to Hollywood and, equally important, to empower the believers already there.  

Here in Indy, we want to draw together people who have the heart to pray for artists, and for Hollywood.  We want to gather for times of sharing and prayer because we believe prayer is vital and powerful.  Prayer is our most powerful weapon against the enemy.  Let's use it!   We are honored to be involved with HPN, and invite you to join us as we pray for what is probably the most influential subculture in America, if not the world!
