Allen D. Edge is an ordained minister, a talented actor, director, producer, and stand-up comedian with over thirty years experience. He's worked with The Goodman Theatre, E. T .A. Theatre, Victory Gardens Theatre, The Black Ensemble Theatre Company, and The Steppenwolf Theatre Company.
Allen has performed his special brand of humor as an opening act for Aretha Franklin, Pattie La Belle, Smokey Robinson, and The Soul Children of Chicago. He has also appeared in a number of commercials and films.
Equipped with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Theatre from Columbia College and a clear calling, Allen has dedicated his talent t.o God's vision. He is the founder and president of Transitions Edge Productions, Inc. (T.E.P.). T.E.P. is committed to the effective communication of Christ Jesus through the arts and media. Transitions Edge Productions, Inc. is a haven for Christian artists who want to serve God with their gifts without compromise. Allen also serves as the Chairman of the board of directors for Christian Artists Network.
Mr. Edge believes that God has created every living thing for a specific purpose.

Christian Artists Network
Christian Artists Network was birthed on August 10, 1999 out of a need for prayer and encouragement. Thirteen people came together for a one time only prayer meeting. However, a demand for more and an obvious need has compelled us to established a ministry that meets both the spiritual and industry related needs of the artist.
Below is a list of a few people who have committed to the vision of C. A. N. This list is a representation of the variety of talent expertise in Christian Artists Network.

- To empower the Christian artists through ministry, prayer, and fellowship. To provide instruction in the artist's vocation, both as a performer and as a Christian. To hold one another accountable to our Christian principles while still maintaining our individuality and personal artistic expressions and style.
Challenge
- To represent the Lord Jesus as a bright light in a dark world, and to joyfully take our position in the body of Christ.
